VISUAL MARKINGS
VISUAL IDENTIFICATION
The visual identification symbol "PANTTI - PANT 0,15 €" must be placed in two places near the top edge of the can. A right-facing arrow must be placed between the two markings.
The symbol "PANTTI - PANT 0,15 €" must be printed in type that is approximately 4 mm high, and the arrow must be at least 1.5 mm in thickness. "PANTTI - PANT 0,15 €" must be written in "sans serif" font (e.g. Helvetica, Arial, Geneva).
The value of the deposit is always the same, regardless of the can size.
MATERIAL MARKING
The material marking ALU 41 (aluminium) or
FE 40 (steel) must be placed near the top of the can.
EAN-13 CODE
The code symbol must be of nominal size (magnification ratio: 1.00). The code should be 37.29 mm wide and 25.91 mm high. The barcode must always be positioned upright ("ladder position"), which means that the bars are horizontal. The code is placed near the bottom of the can, at least 8 mm away from the bottom edge of the print area.
The EAN 13 code may only be used in Finland, and the same code may not be used in other countries or in the tax free trade. An EAN code that has previously been used on a deposit-based beverage container may not be reused on another deposit-based beverage container.
