IMPORTERS AND BREWERIES
Importers and breweries can join the PALPA deposit-based recycling system. Every can and PET bottle has to be registrated into the system. PALPA checks deposit markings and other details before the acceptance. The manufacturers of the reverse vending machines also test the package.
If an importer or a brewery wish to make changes to the package, regarding material, size or shape, the new package needs to be accepted again by PALPA. The importer or brewery has to send new samples to PALPA and the RVM manufacturers.
